ABSTRACT
This paper presents a comparative study on the capacity of some oxidizing agents: hydrogen peroxide,
atmospheric oxygen and barium peroxide to destroy cyanide ions under ultrasound irradiation. Special attention
was directed towards hydrogen peroxide activity with or without sonication.
