We have briefly presented the progress in technology of feed phosphates produced in Poland with different methods. Modernisation of the production process and changing of the thermal method of defluorinated phosphate production with lowtemperature method of dicalcium phosphate production process strongly influenced on the environmental and economic figures and on the product quality. We have also presented the analysis of the feed phosphate thermal production method in comparison with new implemented lowtemperature process. The evaluation included environmental and economical indicators. Results to allow for the estimate realised modernisation as very effective from environmental and economic point of view.
